Never
leave the things you must do and say until tomorrow;
tomorrow is unimportant and may be too late.
Especially say "I love you", "I care" and "thank you" -
and say it and do it with God.

Each day, each
hour, every instant, I am choosing what I want
to look upon, the sounds I want to hear, the witnesses to what I
want to be the truth for me. Today I choose to look upon what Christ
would have me see, to listen to God's voice and seek the witnesses
to what is true in God's creation.
In Christ's sight the world and God's creation meet, and as they seem to come
together all perception disappears. His kindly sight redeems the
world from death for nothing that he looks on but must live,
remembering the Father and the Son, creator and creation unified.

Footprints
One night a man had a dream. He dreamed he was walking along
the beach with the Lord. Across the sky flashed scenes from
his life.
For each scene he noticed two sets of footprints in the sand;
One belonged to him and the other to the Lord.
When the last scene of his life flashed before him, he looked
back
at the footprints in the sand. He noticed that along the
path of his
life there was only one set of footprints.
He also noticed that it happened at the very lowest and
saddest times in his life.
This really bothered him and he questioned the Lord about
it.
Lord, you said that once I decided to follow you, you would
walk
with me all the way. But I have noticed that during the most
troubled times in my life there is only one set of footprints.
I dont understand why when I needed you most you would leave
me.
The Lord replied, my precious, precious child, I love you
and I
would never leave you during your times of trial and suffering.
When you see only one set of footprints, it was then that
I carried you.

Your
brother is a friend because his Father created him like you.
There
is no difference. You have been given to your brother that
love
might be extended, not cut off from him. What you keep is
lost
to you. God gave you and your brother Himself, and to remember
this
is now the only purpose that you share. And so it is the
only
one you have. Could you attack your brother if you chose
to see no specialness of any kind between you and him? Look
fairly at whatever
makes you give your brother only partial
welcome, or would let you
think that you are better off apart.
It is not always your belief your specialness is limited
by your relationship? And is not this the "enemy"
that
makes you and your brother illusions to each other?"

Would
it be possible for you to hate your brother if you were like
him?
Could you attack him if you realised you journey with
him, to a goal
that is the same? Would you not help him reach
it in every way you
could, if his attainment of it were to
be perceived as yours? You are
his enemy in specialness;
his friend in a shared purpose. Specialness
can never share,
for it depends on goals that you alone can reach.
And he
must never reach them, or your goal is jeopardised. Can love
have
meaning where the goal is triumph? And what decision can be
made for the that will not hurt you?

Let
us leave the confines of ego and wander in the vast fields
of
soul progress. As time is marching on, so must your souls
march on
to a greater expansion of your life in Spirit. The
initiative to undertake
your most important duty in life
is often buried beneath the
accumulated debris of human habits.
You must free yourselves from
their stultifying influence
and start to sow the seeds of the success
that you desire.
Life is worthwhile when you are accomplishing the
most essential
work, which is to find out the meaning and true
values of
your existence.
Man should be instructed by this cosmic motion picture of
life. It is
not being shown without reason. Each day we behold
different scenes,
and each day has a lesson to teach. You
are meant to learn the
lesson
by concentrating on the supreme
purpose of human existence:
to know Who is behind your life.

Paramahansa Yogananda

"We
know what willpower is, but by some misguided conception
many
of us believe we have to be a certain type of person...strong,
determined, extroverted, to be able to be willful, to exercise
willpower.
NOT SO! We all have it and just don't know how
to use it.
We all have the power to direct our thoughts. Meaning that
we
are capable of willpower - willing our power by a process
of thought
energy, but we either don't believe ourselves
to be strong enough
or don't believe ourselves to be good
enough.
WE OWN THE POWER OF THOUGHT - of thought energy
WE OWN THE POWER OF THE UNIVERSE - and the universe within
WE OWN THE POWER OF THE EARTH AND THE SEA AND STONES,
AND
OF MOUNTAINS
WE OWN THE POWER OF THE SOUL - for the soul chooses
WE OWN THE POWER OF DREAMS - of our sleep state
WE OWN THE POWER OF EXPERIENCE
WE OWN THE POWER of knowing our instinctive self, the knowledge
we
were born with, within us
WE OWN THE POWER OF COLLECTIVE CONSIOUSNESS, OUR INNER POWER,
OUR FAITH AND OUR BELIEF, OUR SPIRIT
WE OWN OUR POWER OF WILL - WILLPOWER
How do we access it?
We believe, we trust, we wish, we make possible.
WE DARE TO BE GOOD ENOUGH.
We dare to will it to be so. For if you think it, then it
becomes so.
Make sure that you WILL that which is good for you and those
concerned
FIND GOD..........all will follow."

"Be
aware of the perfect state and sense of well-being during
good
health if pain of disease comes; before crying out,
try to
analyse what it is.
Strive to separate the physiological malfunction from the mental
process
that translates sensation into pain throug
the habit of fear
and imagination"

"Jesus
so frequently said to those who were healed
"Go thou and sin no more"
He enfolded them in divine forgiveness and love.
This is the core of the healing magic
Forgiveness arises from the Christ Light deep within your own
heart.
"Forgive yourself as I forgive you", says the Master.
Deep healing rises from the heart of the child
of God,
and
its source is Love."

"Whatever
joy there is in the world
all comes from desiring others to be happy,
and whatever suffering there is in the world
all comes from desiring myself to be happy"

Living and
